THE PAKXICAN

My Passion for Pakistan

How's it going guys! I'm Cas A.K.A The PAKXICAN!

My story begins from the greatest year 1992!  I didn't witness our World Cup victory under the leadership of Imran Khan but over the years my uncle would show me VHS tapes of Pakistan. He had so many games recorded and I would sit there with him screaming and shouting. The passion and fire in my belly kept growing and growing. I finally went to my first game in 2010, at Edgbaston. I was only a teen and watched Pakistan v Australia but i witnessed the craziness, the excitement, the drums the singing and the dancing which we all love and of course the pure passion of Pakistan fans!

Funnily enough this is where I first saw Mr Pakistan and The Sheikh of Pakistan who was dressed as The Hulk and I was just so amazed by their outfits.

6 years later I went to Edgbaston for the Test Match, I was alone and bumped into Mr Pakistan. They had the Pakistan Fan bus which I'm sure most of you have seen and I was so happy when he said "kid jump onto the bus" where we sang and danced and paraded around Edgbaston. It was truly a great day for any fan.

So how did my character 'The Pakxican' come about?...well, I stayed in touch with Mr Pakistan and asked if I can be part of the gang. He invited me with open arms and we thought of an outfit. The timing was just too perfect because a year later was the 2017 Champions Trophy! What a year that was for me as I'm a keen Dhol player and  travelling up and down the UK with the Dhol blasting around the grounds, encouraging the fans to join me and supporting Pakistan! The most memorable moment. Pakistan v India Champions Trophy final and we beat them immensely! and honestly I cried tears of joy. Incredible memories for me.

My Journey

My biggest moment as a fan was my childhood dream of flying to Australia coming true in 2022 for the T20 World Cup and what an experience that was! Typical Pakistan giving us heart attacks and excitement sitting at a packed MCG on the front row as the Pakxican dhol blasting around the stands, wow and being recognised by other fans and getting on tv countless times was just surreal! The stadium where Imran Khan lifted the World Cup all those years ago and I was there. Definitely a story to tell me grandkids about.

Looking forward to attending many more matches both in England and abroad with the other Superfans so if you see me come and say Hi, I love meeting people, I love supporting Pakistan and I love rocking the stands 🇵🇰❤️

Pakistan Zindabad!
